Ubud Jungle Waterfall Pool

A single cascade drops from a moss-draped overhang deep in the Ubud jungle, its white rush narrowing as it falls before opening into a pool of extraordinary turquoise-green. The view is close and enveloping — dense foliage crowds every edge of the composition, layering a dozen shades of green from pale lime to deep emerald. Soft light filters through the canopy high above, catching the mist that rises from the water and giving the whole scene a luminous, almost otherworldly glow. Trailing vines hang from the cliff face beside the falls, and broad-leafed plants reach toward the pool from both sides, leaving just enough open water at the center to reflect that brilliant blue-green back upward.
