Weinmarkt Square Gothic Fountain

A deep cobalt sky holds the last breath of dusk over Weinmarkt Square, the air carrying that particular stillness that only snow and an empty plaza together can produce. The Gothic fountain rises at the center of the composition, its slender spire detailed with teal and rust-red accents, dusted at its base with a thin cap of white. The warm stone facades of the surrounding buildings recede into the distance, their tall windows glowing amber from within — each lit pane a small portrait of shelter against the cold.
