Rocky Shores Turquoise Waters

The view opens from the edge of a jagged shoreline, looking out across Lake Baikal's frozen expanse toward a distant ridge of blue-purple mountains. Warm amber and rust-colored rocks crowd the left foreground, catching the low golden light of a clear winter day. From there, the eye sweeps right across a vast sheet of ice rendered in shifting layers of teal, cobalt and pale aquamarine, its fractured surface glinting white where plates have pressed and cracked against one another.
